Reviewer or Evaluation Matrix

MENTOR Revista de Investigación Educativa y Deportiva uses a Peer Review Evaluation Matrix as a supporting instrument for the external evaluation of submitted manuscripts.
The matrix establishes scientific, methodological, ethical, and editorial criteria to guide the assessment of original research articles, review articles, and theoretical essays submitted to the journal.
The evaluation is conducted under a double-blind peer-review model, and reviewer recommendations are advisory. A reviewer’s recommendation does not automatically determine whether a manuscript is accepted or rejected. The final editorial decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or the responsible editor designated by MENTOR, in accordance with the journal’s Peer Review Process.
Reviewers may record their comments through the OJS platform, the Peer Review Evaluation Matrix, or an annotated manuscript file, without the need to duplicate the same information.
