Abstract

The Mon Dollyo Chagui technique, crucial in taekwondo, presents difficulties in mastery due to a lack of innovation in training methods, which limits athletes' optimal performance. The objective of the research was to design a gamification program to improve the Mon Dollyo Chagui technique in taekwondo athletes from FEDEBOLIVAR. A pre-experimental study without a control group was conducted. A gamification program was implemented for 10 weeks, evaluating technical performance through tests designed and validated by experts (index 1.00). The evaluation included lateral dominance, position, movement, power, and balance, analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed an improvement in the symmetry and technical precision of the Mon Dollyo Chagui kick, with 20% of athletes reaching excellence levels. The gamification program enhanced technical performance by integrating motivational and competitive dynamics during training. Gamification improves technical performance by reducing lateral imbalances and increasing motivation. It is a promising strategy for training advanced skills in taekwondo, benefiting both precision and technical balance.
