Inteligencia artificial aplicada en la educación superior: Una revisión sistemática

La inteligencia artificial ha ganado relevancia como innovación y herramienta en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la educación superior, lo que ha abierto oportunidades para el desarrollo de estrategias mediadas por tecnología. Esta revisión tuvo como objetivo analizar la producción científica reciente sobre la implementación de la inteligencia artificial en la educación superior, con énfasis en su relación con el compromiso estudiantil, el interés académico y las prácticas de aula orientadas al aprendizaje activo, así como en los beneficios y limitaciones reportados en la literatura. Se realizó una revisión sistemática de acuerdo con la guía Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). La búsqueda se realizó en bases de datos académicas internacionales, seleccionando publicaciones de los últimos cinco años relacionadas con la implementación de IA en contextos universitarios. Los resultados mostraron una distribución diversa de las publicaciones en distintas regiones; entre las principales aplicaciones se identificaron la automatización de las estrategias de enseñanza-aprendizaje y el fortalecimiento del aprendizaje autónomo. También se identificaron limitaciones en aspectos éticos, pedagógicos y tecnológicos. Se concluyó que la IA puede constituirse como una herramienta de apoyo para fortalecer los procesos de la educación superior, aunque su integración representa retos en su implementación responsable.
