Efectividad de las metodologías activas para desarrollar la competencia motriz y la motivación en estudiantes de Educación Básica

Resumen

La competencia motriz y la motivación son esenciales en Educación Física, pero la evidencia se concentra en intervenciones con estudiantes y ofrece menor conocimiento sobre percepciones docentes de metodologías activas. El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar las percepciones y experiencias de los docentes de Educación Básica de la ciudad de Machala sobre la efectividad de las metodologías activas para favorecer el desarrollo de la competencia motriz y la motivación de los estudiantes. Se desarrolló un estudio cualitativo descriptivo con 24 docentes de siete instituciones de Machala, seleccionados intencionalmente. Se aplicaron entrevistas semiestructuradas de diez preguntas y análisis temático inductivo de las transcripciones. Los docentes asociaron las metodologías activas con participación, autonomía motriz, toma de decisiones y motivación; identificaron como facilitadores la planificación y adaptación, y como barreras tiempo, recursos y grupos numerosos. Las metodologías activas favorecen la articulación entre competencia motriz y motivación cuando se adaptan al grupo, integran participación y decisión, y cuentan con docentes capaces de ajustar su aplicación pedagógica.
