Motor coordination constitutes a relevant component within school Physical Education due to its relationship with body control, movement, and the execution of motor skills at early ages. The objective of the study was to analyze the observed variations in motor coordination among Middle Basic General Education students after the application of a program based on cooperative games at the “Consejo Provincial” Educational Unit in Tulcán, Ecuador. The research was conducted under a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental pretest–posttest design applied to a single group composed of 28 fifth-grade students aged between 9 and 10 years. The 3JS Motor Coordination Test was used before and after a six-week pedagogical intervention integrated into Physical Education classes. The data were processed using descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon signed-rank test for related samples. The results showed differences between the pretest and posttest scores in locomotor coordination, object control, and general motor coordination. It is concluded that cooperative games constitute an applicable strategy within school Physical Education classes.
