Uso de los chatbots y asistentes virtuales en la mejora de la fluidez oral en ingles

El dominio del inglés es importante, especialmente la fluidez oral; el uso de asistentes virtuales como Google Assistant puede mejorar esta habilidad, reduciendo ansiedad y generando motivación para practicar regularmente. El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar cómo influye el uso sistemático de Google Assistant en la fluidez oral en inglés de estudiantes pertenecientes a institutos especializados, superando barreras comunes en contextos educativos ecuatorianos. Se basó bajo un enfoque cualitativo fenomenológico-descriptivo; participaron quince docentes mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas en seis institutos de Quito, usando análisis inductivo temático para explorar percepciones sobre Google Assistant en fluidez oral. Los resultados obtenidos explican que Google Assistant aumentó la motivación estudiantil hacia la práctica oral, generando mayor confianza comunicativa y reduciendo la ansiedad lingüística, pese a su uso limitado por docentes entrevistados. Se concluye que Google Assistant mejora la fluidez oral y confianza comunicativa, requiriendo infraestructura tecnológica, capacitación docente específica y políticas claras para cerrar la brecha entre reconocimiento y aplicación efectiva en contextos educativos.
