Physical Education must have a curriculum that ensures equity and access for all students, especially those with disabilities or in vulnerable contexts. The objective of the research was to analyze the challenges and opportunities faced by the curricular transformation of physical education today, focusing on two fundamental axes: inclusion and sustainability. The study was based on a qualitative approach with a hermeneutic descriptive design, analyzing teachers' perceptions of curricular transformation in physical education. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 20 physical education teachers in six private educational institutions in Quito. The findings revealed that 75% of the teachers have not received training in inclusive methodologies, making it difficult to adapt their classes. Additionally, 65% reported a lack of appropriate materials and resources for inclusive strategies. Regarding sustainability, 80% indicated that there are no curricular guidelines for integrating environmental practices into physical education, although 55% have independently promoted outdoor activities. It is concluded that the curricular transformation of physical education requires structural changes in study plans and comprehensive teacher training in inclusion and sustainability.
