Abstract

The challenges faced by sports organizations are an everyday matter. Now environments are more dynamic, thereby causing important changes in various areas. In response to this situation, sports organizations have several strategies at their disposal in order to adapt and solve the challenges, problems and opportunities that the environment presents. The objective of this essay is to expose certain models and their advantages for managing a sports organization aimed at improving its performance, which are considered the most appropriate for them. To achieve this, an introductory part is presented that refers to the conditions of the environment and how the management has at its disposal a series of organizational theories to manage sports entities, then a conceptual account is made, in summary, about each of them. these theories and the point of view on their advantages over other techniques, to conclude in the recognition of the importance of how the management focused on sports organizations must investigate the strategies already tested in the organizational work, to achieve a balance between “what was planned” and “what was done” and the search for sporting and economic success.
