The objective of the study focuses on knowing the benefits of physical activity in older adults. In this way, physical activity, its benefits and some difficulties that persist over time on people, around the elderly, are analyzed. It can be seen how the benefits are directly proportional to health, self-esteem, and the ability to be independent from their peers. The results obtained demonstrate the presence of benefits in this population, in relation to the practice of physical activity. According to the results obtained, it can be concluded that physical activity, in a natural environment, provides multiple benefits to the elderly; however, they came from the professional who conducts the activity, the disposition, the corresponding care, safety protocols, and how the resources are used for that purpose.
