Abstract

The objective of this expository and argumentative text is to analyze and reflect on the different theoretical elements that support the Profile of the Physical Education teacher, a look from the complexity of the 21st century. Undoubtedly, this review is necessary due to the fact that in recent years different theoretical productions have emerged that have enriched the epistemology of this important area of ​​knowledge, also highlighting that this pedagogical discipline plays a fundamental role in the integral formation of students. students of any educational modality. In this sense, today the theoretical review on these elements that have emerged is of the utmost importance, since this will allow updating and transforming not only the curricular designs, but also the professional profile with which future Education teachers will graduate. Physical. For this reason, this analysis and reflection presented in this expository text will contribute to the visualization of what the training of a Physical Education teacher should be like, which must be in correspondence with reality and the country's project.
