School sports participation is crucial for the physical and psychological development of students, but it significantly decreases during the transition from primary to secondary education due to factors such as lack of inclusion and competitive pressure. A mixed methodology was used, including literature review and direct observations in classes and sports events, to identify barriers and design effective strategies to increase sports participation among students. The proposals include modified sport interclass tournaments and personalized fitness programs and group challenges, designed to foster inclusion, improve motivation, and enhance student engagement in sports activities. Strategies based on self-determination theory and experiential learning promote an inclusive and adaptive environment, improving the physical, mental, and social well-being of students, and establishing a framework for future educational programs.
