The role of the teacher in the university context: a post-pandemic vision

Abstract

The pandemic had a negative impact on all areas, mainly economic, health and education; however, the teachers were the only ones who benefited because they were updated in the use and application of new educational technologies, active methodologies, curricular contextualizations and assertive evaluations. The objective of this editorial article is to propose a post-pandemic vision of the new role that teachers have to assume and its effects on the training of university students. Through theoretical research, the content analysis technique will be used, thereby establishing an understanding of the pedagogical path that must be followed in line with the learning requirements, based on the satisfaction of the demand for professionals who are competent in the future society.
